Brunswick 1 and 2 Exemption Request (ME5188 and ME5189)
- Bill, Per LIC-109, the NRC staff completed the acceptance review of the exemption request dated December 16, 2010, regarding Exemption from Certain Requirements of the Fitness for Duty Rule for Managing Fatigue associated with TACs ME5188 and ME5189. The NRC staff finds this exemption request to be acceptable for review in that the submittal reasonably appear to contain sufficient technical information, both in scope and depth, for the staff to complete the detailed technical review and render, in an appropriate time frame, an assessment of the proposed action with regard to applicable regulatory requirements and the protection of public health, safety, and security.
The acceptance review may result in some questions that will need to be addressed informally or formally prior to the completion of the staff's final assessment of the exemption.
