UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN - ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT REGARDING RENEWAL OF FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NO. R-74 FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN NUCLEAR REACTOR (TAC NO. ME1585)

Dear Mr. Agasie:

Enclosed is a copy of the Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact regarding the application submitted by the University of Wisconsin dated May 9, 2000, as supplemented by letter dated October 17, 2008; for a renewed Facility Operating License No.

R-74 for the University of Wisconsin Nuclear Reactor. The proposed action would renew Facility Operating License No. R-74 for twenty years from the date of issuance of the renewed license. The enclosed is being forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
