SUMMARY

OF JUNE 1,2010, MEETING WITH EXELON GENERATION COMPANY, LLC, ON RESPONSES TO REQUEST FOR INFORMATION RE: LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST FOR THE USE OF NETCO-SNAP-IN RACK INSERTS (TAC NO. ME2376 AND ME2377)

On June 1, 2010, a Category 1 public meeting was held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and representatives of Exelon Generation Company, LLC (EGC, licensee) at NRC Headquarters, One White Flint North, 11555 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the draft request for additional information (RAI) responses related to license amendment request submitted on October 5,2009 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Package No. ML092810278), regarding the use of neutron absorbing inserts in the LaSalle county Station (LSCS), Unit 2, spent fuel pool storage racks. A list of attendees is provided as Enclosure 1.

The licensee presented information in response to the RAls sent to the licensee on April 26, 2010 (ADAMS Accession No. ML100980209). A large portion of the meeting was closed to the public because of the proprietary nature of the responses. The licensee submitted their formal responses to the RAls on June 10, 2010 (ADAMS Package No. ML101650228). The non proprietary version can be found in ADAMS (ADAMS Accession No. ML101650229 and ML101650230).

Members of the public were not in attendance. Public Meeting Feedback forms were not received.
