This letter transmits WBN Unit 2 FSAR Amendment 93 (A93), which reflects changes made since the issuance of Amendment 92 on December 18, 2008 (Reference 1). This Unit 2 amendment incorporates changes resulting from TVA's ongoing design/reverification effort in support of the development of the WBN Unit 2 design basis.

This letter also responds to NRC letter dated March 23, 2009, requesting TVA to verify the schedule for providing information amending the FSAR,(Reference 2). Specifically, NRC requested TVA to verify the schedule dates for submitting amendments on specific FSAR sections depicted in the enclosure to NRC's March 23 letter.

Enclosure 1 contains TVA's schedule dates for submitting amendments for the Safety Evaluation Report (SER) sections (with corresponding FSAR sections) listed in NRC's letter. TVA has completed its design/reverification review of the SER sections indicated with an April 2009 due date and determined that no further changes are anticipated with the Unit 2 FSAR's text and tables, the design-related activities are complete, and the verbiage is consistent with the Unit 1 Updated FSAR, as appropriate. Enclosure 2 contains a "Summary Listing" of the location and corresponding Unit 2 FSAR change package numbers associated with the A93 changes. Enclosure 3 contains a listing of administrative changes that have been identified as part of TVA's review.

Enclosure OSM DVD #1 transmitted herewith contains SUNSI. When separated from Enclosure OSM DVD #1, this transmittal document is decontrolled.

The FSAR contains security-related information identified by the designation "Security-Related Information - Withhold Under 10 CFR 2.390." TVA hereby requests this information be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 2.390. A redacted version of the FSAR is contained on OSM #2 (enclosed OSM DVD # 2), which is suitable for public disclosure. Enclosure 4 contains a listing of the FSAR pages that have been redacted and there are no changes to the list of redacted pages as a result of A93.
