Re: Changes to TS 3.6.4.1 and TS 3.6.4.3 Subsequent to the Tele-Conference between the NRC staff and PPL Susquehanna (PPL) on December 18, 2008, and the review of the additional draft information you sent via your e-mail to me on January 15, 2009, the NRC staff from SCVB and AADB has determined that additional information, as described in the "The Request for Additional Information (RAI)" in the attachment, is needed to complete the review of the subject License Amendment Request.

This request is in addition to the Draft RAI from ITSB, that is being sent you via separate e-mail and the RAI from APLA sent to you on December 17, 2008, (This RAI was discussed in the tele-Conf between the NRC staff and PPL on December 22, 2008).

Please contact me, if you any questions and require clarifications from the NRC Staff. Also, let me know ASAP when you will respond to all the RAI sets mentioned above.

Also, please note that in view of the complexity of the Amendment Request and the extent of the staff review involved, the NRC Staff does not believe that the requested completion date of March 28, 2009, could be met.
