PALO VERDE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNIT 3 - ERRATA TO AMENDMENT NO. 162, DATED OCTOBER 31, 2006 (TAC NO. MC9158)
Dear Mr. Levine:
On October 31, 2006, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued Amendment No. 162 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-41, Amendment No. 162 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-51, and Amendment No. 162 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-74 for the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station (Palo Verde), Units 1, 2, and 3, respectively. The amendments consisted of changes to the Operating Licenses (OLs) in response to your application dated September 29, 2005, as supplemented by letter dated July 5, 2006. The changes to the OLs approved requested modifications to the physical security plans for the Palo Verde site.
Through administrative errors, page 4 of the OL for Palo Verde Unit 3 did not reflect changes which had been previously approved by Amendment No. 157. The Amendment No. 157 changes to the Palo Verde Unit 3 OL moved some of the requirements associated with the security plan information from page 4 to page 5. Therefore, both pages for the Palo Verde OL are being re-issued to correct this administrative error.
This letter transmits an errata to Amendment No. 162 correcting the affected pages. If there are any questions concerning this letter, please contact me at (301) 415-3062.
