On 3/13/06 the 74', 78', and 76' depths on MW-30 were*taken for IPEC tritium counting (results: 179,000, 142,000, 65,000 pCi/L respectively)
The above MW-30 sample at 72' el was also taken, and sent directly to Teledyne for analysis, as this has been typically higher tritium activity MW-30 cannot be sampled for next 30 days because of outage equipment placement, and area dose rates from demineralizer skid Attempts will be made to get representative Transformer Yard wells ( MW-33,34,35, 111) if possible during outage for MW-30 trending correlation

MOST RECENT TRITIUM ACTIVITY IN MONITORING WELLS (BY INCREASING VALUES)-03/31/06 These numbers below represent the highest activity found in the well. Because some of the wells have multiple sample heights, the values may be lower in the well at other elevations but are not listed below.
Example:
MW-42 has 261,000 pCi/L 49' down in the well (shallow well sample point) and 6,550 pCi/L 78' down in the deeper well sampling point.

MW-37 IPEC SPLIT SAMPLE RESULT FROM FEB 28,2006 SAMPLE FROM TELEDYNE LAB Note:
The values given below for Ni-63 are the first reported lab values. Recounting for nickel 63 is in progress and early indication is that the stated values below are incorrect, and nickel-63 is believed to be either not present, or possibly present at low values. We are awaiting the official Teledyne lab results.
Additionally another lab (Framatome) is counting this Feb 28 sample, and a March 17 sample, for nickel -63 comparisons The values for Strontium-90 as counted by Teledyne are in good agreement with the NRC lab results with the exception of the 40' elevation where Teledyne reported 3.8 pCi/L and the NRC value were higher ( range of 20 pCi/L)

- This is only well sample (at depth 49') that showed any gamma activity to date All the above wells were counted for PCBs and found clean MW-37 was also recently sampled for PCBs (this was a non-split sample effort for PCB's) and is being sent out for analysis
