+ NOTE: The above alignment represents the normal lineup of the 500Kv/13.8Kv Switchyards. Deviations may exist while still maintaining two independent offsite power source separation. IF actual alignment deviates from the above, CONSULT Electrical Drawing E-0001-0 to determine if proper separation exists, and IAW the following criteria: 500Kv Bus Sections 1 & 2 energized by two offsite sources (Red Lion 5015, New Freedom 5023, or Salem X-Tie 5037). Two feeds (10X and 20X) into a split 13.8Kv Yard, with each feed supplying power to an energized separate Station Service Transformer (AX501 and BX501). An independent offsite feed is considered available to the safety related distribution system IF all four of the 1E infeed breakers are OPERABLE. IF less than 4 breakers are OPERABLE, CONSIDER the offsite feed inoperable and comply with ACTION 3.8.1.1 as appropriate.

HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION HC.OP-ST.BB-0007(Q) - Rev. 8 RECIRCULATION JET PUMP OPERABILITY-SINGLE LOOP - DAILY USE CATEGORY: I REVISION

SUMMARY

Biennial Review performed Yes No N/A 9

1. IAW Generic procedure change identified under CR 990219121, (Closed To File), Limitation 3.2.1 was removed from this procedure. The direction contained in the Limitation regarding sequential performance of steps is adequately contained within higher tier administrative procedures including NC.NA-AP.ZZ-0001(Q) and NC.NA-WG.ZZ-0001(Q).
2. Based on request made by Reactor Engineering under Order 80018863, Note 5.1.4.F and steps 5.1.4.F.4 & 5 were revised to change the referenced flow value from 23,000 gpm to 23 kgpm.

The qualifying statements used in those steps were also revised to qualify the ACTION against flow exclusively, and not a combination of flow and Recirc Pump speed.

3. Based on writers review, the symbol % was added into title of section 5.2, and where used throughout procedure. Also added page numbering to attachments 8, 9, and 10. (no rev bars used)
4. Based on request made under Revision Request 96-0589 (TSSIP Comments), T/S references were added to body of procedure against steps which had an acceptance criteria against their signoff.
5. Based on request made under Order 80024441 the following changes were made:
  • Revised steps 5.1.1 and 5.2.1 to state, IF this is the first subsection of the procedure to be performed, THEN LOG test start time in the Control Room log(s).
  • Revised steps 5.1.10 and 5.2.12 to state, IF this is the final subsection of the procedure to be performed, THEN LOG test end time in the Control Room log(s).
  • Revise steps 5.1.11 and 5.2.13 to state, IF this is the final subsection of the procedure to be performed, THEN SUBMIT this procedure to the OS/CRS for review and completion of Attachment 1.
6. Based on request made under DCP 80010289 ((Power Up Rate) (CD P514) Precaution 3.1.2 and Note # of Attachment 2 (Page 1 of 2) were modified to address the new MWTH value associated with < 38% Thermal Limit. (1268.8 versus 1251.3)

This entire revision can be considered editorial in nature.
