OF MARCH 8, 2004, MEETING TO DISCUSS AMENDMENT REQUEST CONCERNING CONTROL ROD DRIVE TRIP DEVICES (TAC NOS.
On March 8, 2004, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) met with Duke Energy Corporation (the licensee) to discuss the licensees January 15, 2004, amendment request concerning the control rod drive trip devices. Attachment 1 is a list of the attendees. is a copy of the slides presented by the licensee during the meeting. The January 15, 2004, amendment request is accessible electronically from the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Public Electronic Reading Room using the accession number ML040290115. The ADAMS Public Electronic Reading Room can be found on the internet at the NRC Web site http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams/html.
The licensee stated that it intends to provide a revised submittal by March 19, 2004, that will clarify the January 15, 2004, submittal and address the comments made by the NRC during the meeting.
