WITHDRAWAL OF TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION (TS) CHANGE 03-02, "REVISION OF ULTIMATE HEAT SINK (UHS) TEMPERATURE AND ELEVATION REQUIREMENTS"

TVA letter to NRC dated May 22, 2003, "Sequoyah Nuclear Plant (SQN) -
Units 1 and 2 -
Technical Specification (TS) Change 03-02, "Revision of Ultimate Heat Sink (UHS) Temperature and Elevation Requirements" On May 22, 2003, (referenced letter) TVA requested a TS change to increase the maximum UHS temperature from 84.5 degrees Fahrenheit (F) to 87.0 degrees F and revise the-minimum river level from 670 feet to 674 feet.
Based on preliminary NRC review, it appears that the request will require more than minimal modification to support the NRC review.
Therefore, TVA withdraws the request to make the necessary changes and will resubmit in the near future.
