SUMMARY
OF APRIL 15, 2003, ANNUAL ASSESSMENT MEETING WITH CONSTELLATION ENERGY On April 15, 2003, at 1:00 p.m., an annual assessment meeting was conducted at the Joint News Center, between the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and Constellation Energy Management. The NRC presented and discussed its assessment of the safety performance of Nine Mile Point for the period January 1, 2002, through December 31, 2002.
The NRC presented a summary of national plant performance and discussed the annual assessment results for Nine Mile Point Units 1 and 2. At the end of the meeting between the NRC and Constellation Energy, public attendees were offered the opportunity to ask questions of NRC officials. Questions raised by local media and concerned citizens were addressed by the NRC. There were feedback forms submitted by the public immediately following the meeting. The presentation slides and the attendance list can be located in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management Systems (ADAMS) by referring to Accession No. ML030620082.
