SUMMARY

OF THE DECEMBER 4, 2002 REGULATORY PERFORMANCE PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS ACTIONS TO ADDRESS DECLINING PLANT PERFORMANCE On December 4, 2002, the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held a public meeting at the Fossil Ridge Public Library in Braidwood, Illinois. The meeting was between the NRC and Exelon Generation Company to discuss the licensees planned actions to address declining plant performance which resulted in entry into the Degraded Cornerstone Column of the NRC Action Matrix for Braidwood Unit 1. The meeting notice, NRC presentation, and Exelon presentation can be found in ADAMS as ML023310334, ML023390312, and ML023390309; respectively. A list of NRC and licensee meeting participants can be found in Enclosure 1.

The results of the supplemental inspection conducted for a degrading performance indicator can be found in ADAMS as ML021200165.

The inspection report which initially documented a finding related to the Unit 1 pressurizer power operated relief air accumulator check valves and subsequent final significance determination letter which formally documented the White finding can be found in ADAMS as ML020780234 and ML022040424, respectively.
