Request for Withholding Information from Public Disclosure RiverBend Station Unit 1 (TAC No. MB5094)
By Reference 1, the NRC denied GE's request to withhold from public disclosure the RiverBend Safety Analysis Report for Thermal Power Optimization (TSAR) NEDC 33051P, Revision 0. Entergy Operations, Inc (EOI) submitted the TSAR to the NRC by Reference 2. The TSAR was provided to support a requested license amendment by EOI and was not submitted in a rule making proceeding. GE hereby requests, pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790(c) that the referenced RiverBend TSAR be withdrawn' GE provided EOI with a revision of the TSAR, which revises the identification of the proprietary information in the TSAR, as well as revising the basis for the proprietary protection. The proprietary information is protected by a simple redaction as requested by your letter (Reference 1). A proprietary and a non-proprietary version of the TSAR were provided. GE, as the owner of Revision 0 of this information, requests that Revision 0 of both of the TSARs be withdrawn. EOI will be submitting the revised TSAR shortly to support its license application.
