SUBJECT:
BEAVER VALLEY POWER STATION, UNIT 2 - RE-ISSUANCE OF TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION INDEX PAGE ISSUED WITH AMENDMENT NO. 131 TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NPF-73 (TAC NO. MB3478)
Dear Mr. Bezilla:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Amendment No. 131 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-73 for the Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit 2 (BVPS-2) on May 30, 2002, in response to your application dated November 8, 2000, as supplemented February 6, May 7, and November 21, 2001. The amendment (1) relocated limiting condition for operation (LCO) 3.4.1.6 and the APPLICABILITY statement to a footnote in LCO 3.4.1.2, Reactor Coolant System - Hot Standby, and in LCO 3.4.1.3, Reactor Coolant System - Shutdown, (2) relocated information contained in SR 4.4.1.6.1 and LCO footnote to the TS Bases, and (3) deleted all references to TS 3/4.4.1.6.
Following receipt of the amendment, your staff verbally notified the NRC that the Technical Specification Index Page V issued with Amendment No. 131 inadvertently contained information that had previously been deleted by Amendment No. 130 to Facility Operating License No.
NPF-73 for BVPS-2. Specifically, the index page still contained a line item for TS Section 3/4.3.3.11, which had been relocated to the BVPS-2 Licensing Requirements Manual.
Accordingly, the enclosure provides a corrected copy of the BVPS-2 TS Index Page V.
Sincerely,
/RA/
