SUBJECT:
REGULATORY HISTORY INDEX DIRECT FINAL RULE TO AMEND 10 CFR 34, 36, AND 39 TO APPROVE THE USE OF NEW PERSONNEL DOSIMETRY DEVICES Attached is the regulatory history of those documents of central relevance to the subject rulemaking. The Accession number is provided for those documents in ADAMS. The rulemaking amended the regulations to allow the use of any personnel dosimeter that is processed to determine dose, provided the dosimeter is processed by an accredited NVLAP processor. The title of the direct final rule is New Dosimetry Technology published in the Federal Register, October 24, 2000.
