DIRECT FINAL RULE TO AMEND AND REVISE 10 CFR PARTS 34, 36, AND 39 TO APPROVE THE USE OF NEW PERSONNEL DOSIMETRY DEVICES Your concurrence is requested on the attached memo to the Executive Director of Operations transmitting a direct final rule. This rule will amend the regulations that require the use of specific kinds of dosimeters that require processing for determining the radiation dose to allow licensees to use any type of dosimeter that requires processing provided that it is processed by an organization accredited under the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program.
