Dear Mr. Parrott:
As indicated in your letter dated January 18, 2018 (Reference 7) NRC has determined that additional information is necessary to complete its exemption evaluation and requested GE Hitachi (GEH) provide this information by February 16, 2018. As I discussed with you on January 30, 2018 we are evaluating several options, but will need additional time to respond.
Thus, GEH requests that our response to the NRC be provided no later than March 28, 2018.
