V Nj SELECT SYSTEM ASSESSMENT AUGUST 1986 PRDCRESS Reconstitution of Design Basis Development, review and concurrence of draft reconstituted design bases continue on schedule.

A total of 29,558 can-hours have been expended on the reconstitution of design basis effort.

Walkdowns Compilation, evaluation and correction to walkdown discrepancies con-tinues.

A total of 19,462 man-hours have been expended on the walkdown effort.

Confizuration Management Evaluation of procedures and other organizational resp >nsibilities continues.

A total of 371 man-hours have been expended en the config-uration management effort.

Punch List A total of 39,441 man-hours have been expended on punch list items.

Significant items completed during this period by system, are listed below:

Evaluated debris in System for reportability under the requirements of 10 CFR Part 21.

- Confirmed sufficient controls (log readings & e qu ipr.ent tags) to ensure proper governor settings.

Evaluated IE notice 85-91 on possible load sequence by pass

Evaluated remote shutdown with auto-start signal present in F0E 83-125.
