BYRON NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 NRC PHYSICAL SECURITY BASELINE INSPECTION REPORT NO. 05000454/2006008; 05000455/2006008(DRS)
Dear Mr. Crane:
On June 22, 2006, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed a baseline security inspection of your Byron Nuclear Power Station and Exelon Nuclear Corporate. The enclosed report documents the results of this inspection, which were discussed on June 22, 2006, with Mr. Hoot and other members of your staff.
This inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to public health and safety, the common defense and security, and to compliance with the Commissions rules and regulations, orders, and with the conditions of your license. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selected examination of procedures and representative records, observations of activities, and interviews with personnel.
No findings of significance were identified.
EXEMPT FROM PUBLIC DISCLOSURE May be exempt from public release under the Freedom of Information Act (5 U.S.C. 552)
