Re:St.LucieUnits1and2DocketNos.50-335and50-389ReplytoNoticeofViolationInsectionReort92-21-Revisedc~SurveillancerequirementsofcontainmentisolationmanualvalvesandblindflangeswillbeplacedunderproceduralcontrolofAP1-0010125and2-0010125,"ScheduleofPeriodicTests,Checks,andCalibrations"and1-0010125Aand2-0010125A,"SurveillanceDataSheets"byMarch1,1993.d0e.ContainmentisolationmanualvalvesandblindflangesoutsideUnit1andUnit.2containmentswillbeverifiedtobeclosedevery31daysstartingMarch1,1993.ManualvalvesinsideeachcontainmentwillhavelockingdevicesandlabelsinstalledandblindflangeswillbelabeledduringthenextscheduledrefuelingoutageonUnit1inJune,1993andcompletedonUnit2duringthecurrentoutagebyMarch,1993.AnemergencytechnicalspecificationamendmentdeletingtherequirementsofTS4.6.1.1.a.1,"ContainmentVesselIntegrity"forinsidecontainmentisolationvalvesforcycle11wassenttotheNRConFebruary16,1993.g,Achangetounit1TS4.6.1.1.a.1,whichwill1technicalspecificationsliketheunit2specificationswillbesubmitted.Theunit2specificationsdonotrequirethesurveillanceinsidethecontainmentevery31days.makeunittechnicaltechnicalofvalves4~Fullcomliance'willbeachievedwhentheNRCarovestheemerencamendmentdescribedin3.f.above.
