Licensee Action on Previous Inspection Findings (Closed) Deviations 327/78-06-01 and 327/78-04-01 Fire Protection. The licensee has submitted an amended final response dated July 3, 1978.
The change to the response has been reviewed. There are no further questions. The item was originally closed in report 50-327/78-20 and 50-328/78-15. This deviation is closed.

Unresolved Items There were no new unresolved items identified during this inspection.
4.
Independent Inspection Effort The inspector conducted a backshift inspection on the second shift. The inspector examined the electrical equipment installation in the reactor, auxiliary and control buildings. The inspector observed a portion of the preparation to install the reactor internals. The inspector examined portions of the permanent plant fire protection system. Within the areas examined there were no items of noncompliance identifie.

Electrical Penetrations (Unit I and 2)

The inspector conducted an indepth examination to assure that TVA specification 1425 and the Sequoyah QC manual had been complied with concerning electrical penetrations. The inspector reviewed both open and closed Non Conformance Reports (NCR), storage, inspection reports, vendor inspection reports and correspondence -- both internal and vendor. Design engineering has accepted the mill certification on the material used, the test reports and the seismic report. The inspector reviewed the design comments on NCR 78-5.
Within the areas examined there were no items of noncompliance identified.
6.
Exit Interview The inspector met with licensee representatives (denoted in paragraph 1)
at the conclusion of the inspection. The inspector summarized the scope of the inspection: Review of Quality records on Electrical Penetration Assemblies. There were no items of noncompliance identified.
