Dear Mr. Hinnant:
i Thank you for your response of September 2,1997, to our Notice of Violation issued on
August 1,1997, concerning setivities conducted at your Brunswick Steam Electric Plant facility.
We have evaluated your response to Violations A, B, and D and found that it meets the requirements of 10 CFR 2.201 However, based on my discussion with Mr. Keith Jury and other members of your staff on September 16,1997, regarding Violation E, I understand that you completed revision of procedure OFPP 013 on September 12,1997, and that we requested

that you supplement your response to Viobtion C to include additionalinformation which further clarifies corrective actions taken for this violation. The supplemental response will be due within 30 days of receipt of this letter. We will examine the implementation of your corrective actions for Violations A, B, D, and E during future inspections.
