The inspector determined that the licensee provided supplemental training for and increased supervisory surveillance over the vehicle search process. The inspector observed vehicle searches periodically during the inspection and did not observe any deviations from approved procedures.

A new examination was developed for CAS/SAS operators and was admin-istered.
Each operator was requalified. The test results were furnished to the NRC by letter dated July 16, 1985.

The lighting was sufficient to monitor and observe persons and activities within the isolation zones and the protected area with closed. circuit television or direct visual surveillance.
8.
MC 81601 Safeguards Contingency Plan Implementation Review The licensee's program for responding to security threats and other contingencies, as outlined in the approved Security Contingency Plan, was reviewed by the inspector. The licensee has conducted one drill, which is

documented to exercise the plan. _The licensee informed the' inspector that drills will be conducted on a frequency of once per quarter.
