SERVICE WATER SYSTEM OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE INSPECTION -

[

REPORT NO. 50-313/94-02; 50-368/94-02 i

As stated in our April 30, 1993, letter, we are planning to conduct a Service

.

Water System Operational Performance Inspection.(SWSOPI) at your Arkansas

!

Nuclear One facility.

We have scheduled this inspection for the period from

.

July 25 through August 12, 1994. The change to the inspection schedule was discussed with Mr. M. Cooper of your staff on December 21, 1993.

.

The inspection will utilize the guidance. contained in Temporary

,

Instruction 2515/118, " Service Water System Operational Performance Inspections (SWSOPI)," Revision 1.

The inspection will, however, be a limited scope effort that will focus on the implementation of your Service. Water Integrity Program.

The inspection will be performed by three inspectors

during two 1-week site visits separated by 1 week of inoffice review.

+

In order to implement an efficient inspection, the team would like to conduct l

a short entrance meeting with those involved members of your staff on July 25, i

'

1994.

The team would appreciate a short (1-hour) presentation on the' design, operation,'and history of the service water system at the conclusion of the entrance meeting.

Attached to this letter is a list of materials that the team will require for the inspection.

We request that the material be available for the team on

.

July 25, 1994.
