Thank you for your letter dated June 8, 1979 informing us of the steps you have taken tc correct the noncocpliance identified in our letter dated May 18, 1979. We will exa::. ae your corrective action during a future inspection.
Your letter also identifies an apparent inconsistency between the NRR review process, as described in Mr. A. Schwencer's letter to you dated April 10, 1979, and the scheduling and conducting of our routine physical protection inspection on April 23-27, 1979. The regional office was not aware of the April 10, 1979 letter at the time the inspection was scheduled.
We regret any inconvenience caused by the communication gap between NRK, this office and Wisconsin Public Service Corporation. This matter is being brought to the attention of NRC Headquarters to avoid the possibility of recurrence.
