SUBJECT DIABLO CANYON POWER PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 - NRC EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS ANNUAL INSPECTION REPORT 05000275/2017501 AND 05000323/2017501
Dear Mr. Welsch:
On December 31, 2017, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff completed its annual inspection of the Emergency Preparedness Program at the Diablo Canyon Power Plant, Units 1 and 2. This inspection began on January 1, 2017. Issuance of this letter closes NRC Inspection Report 05000275/2017501 and 05000323/2017501. The inspection results associated with the 2017-501 reports are documented in Integrated Resident Inspection Reports 2017-001, 2017-002, 2017-003, and 2017-004.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
