SALEM NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-272/02-02, 50-311/02-02
Dear Mr. Keiser:
On March 15, 2002, the NRC completed a team inspection at the Salem Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1 and 2. The enclosed report documents the results of that inspection which were discussed with Messrs. J. Carlin and D. Garchow, and other members of your staff on March 15, 2002.
The inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to safety and compliance with the Commissions rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selected examination of procedures and records, observation of activities, and interviews with personnel.
No findings of significance were identified.
In accordance with 10CFR2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs Agency Wide Document and Access Management System (ADAMS).
