Purpose of Meeting The purpose of the meeting was to apprise the Greeley and Platteville city officials of the mission of the Nuclear Regulatory Com:nission (NRC),
to discuss the inspection and enforcement activities of the Office.;f Inspection and Enforcement (01E), and to introduce Mr. M. W. Dickerson, the Resident Inspector at the Fort St. Vrain site.

Matters Discussed a.
Organiza tjyn The orgarizaticn of the HRC was briefly discussed and organiza-tion charts were distributed. The organization was traced from the overall Commission organization down to and including the Region IV organization.
The group was informed of the location and telephone number of the Regional Office.
The creation of the HRC and Energy Research and Development Administration (ERDA) from the Atomic Energy Contnission was discussed.
Authority of the Office of Inspection and Enforcement to inspect nuclear facilities as it appears in 10 CFR 50.70 was discussed.
The inspection and enforcement program of OIE was described.
Included was a discussion of some of the detailed rules for implementing the regulations that govern the inspection program.
