This special, announced inspection was conducted in the area of the licensee's implementation of the land vehicle control measures in accordance with 10 CFR Part 73, "Physical Protection of Plants and Materials."
Results:
In the areas inspected, no violations or deviations were identified..
Observation and inspection results confirmed that the licensee had installed an effective land vehicle barrier system, capable of protecting the plant site against the design basis threat for radiological sabotage which included the use of a land vehicle by adversaries for transporting personnel and their hand-carried equipment to the proximity of vital areas including the use of a land vehicle bomb.
