SUBJECT:

OYSTER CREEK NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION MATERIAL CONTROL

AND ACCOUNTING PROGRAM INSPECTION REPORT NO. 05000219/2016404

Dear Mr. Hanson:

On November 18, 2016, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed a security baseline inspection at the Oyster Creek Generating Station. The inspection covered one of the key attributes of the security cornerstone of the NRC's Reactor Oversight Process. The enclosed inspection report documents the inspection results, which were discussed on November 18, 2016, with Mr. Michael Gillin, Oyster Creek Plant Manager, and other members of the Exelons staff.

The inspection examined activities conducted under your licenses as they relate to security and compliance with the Commissions rules and regulations and with the conditions of your licenses. The inspector reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed cognizant plant personnel.

Based on the results of this inspection, no findings were identified.

In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Part 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS).

ADAMS is accessible from the NRCs Website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room). However, the material enclosed herewith contains security-related information in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(d)(1) and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals could present a security vulnerability.

Sincerely,

/RA/
