Subject: NRC Security Inspection - San Onofre Generating Station, Units 1, 2 and 3 This letter refers to the routine Safeguards inspection of your activity at San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS), Units 1, 2 and 3 authorized under NRC License Nos. OPR-13, NPF-10 and NPF-15 conducted by Messrs. Schuster and D. Schaefer of this office on June 19-23, 1989. It also refers to the discussion of the inspection findings held by the inspector with Mr.1 E. Morgan, Station Manager, SONGS, and members of the SCE and Station staff on June 23,198 Further, this letter refers to a telephone discussion between Messrs. R. Beatty, SCE and D. Schaefer of this office on July 5, 198 Areas examined during this inspection include activities related to physical protection as described in the enclosed inspection report.
