Hind, Chief 5% Safeguards Branch (Datb) Inspection Sum ary Inspection on April 4-6, 1979 (Report No. 50-002/79-01) Areas Inspected: Routine, unannounced inspection of the licensee's approved security plan submitted to the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation on August 25, 1978.

Specifically, the inspectors re-viewed the following areas of the licensee's security program: Security Plan, Protection of SNM, Security Organization, Access Control, Alarm Systems, Keys, Locks and Hardware, Comunica tions, Surveillance, Security Program Review and Protection Against . Radiological Sabotage.

The inspection involved 30 hours onsite by two NRC inspectors.

Results: Of the areas inspected, no items of noncompliance or deviations were found. Weaknesses in the licensee's security program were noted and discussed with reactor management at the exit interview.
