In accordance with Harris Nuclear Plant Technical Specification 6.9.1.2, Carolina Power & Light Company, doing business as Progress Energy Carolinas, Inc., provides the Annual Operating Report for 2004. This report includes information regarding; (1) individuals receiving exposures greater than 100 mrem/yr and their associated man-rem exposure according to work and job functions, (2) primary coolant specific activity limits, and (3) challenges to the pressurizer power-operated relief valves and safety valves for 2004.

Enclosure to SERIAL: HNP-05-016 Page 2 of 3 2004 ANNUAL OPERATING REPORT - PRIMARY COOLANT SPECIFIC ACTIVITY LIMITS During 2004, activity levels in the primary coolant did not exceed 1.0 pCi/gram dose equivalent 1-131 or 100/E-bar pCi/gram gross radioactivity as set forth in Technical Specification 3.4.8.
