U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission CNL-20-054 Page 2 June 24, 2020 Description of Changes and Summary of Analysis REP-GENERIC TVA revised this REP as follows:

  • Added that initiating conditions are also established to assist in making decisions.
  • Clarified the information provided in the figure for offsite emergency organization.
  • Added a description of Core Damage Assessor.
  • Clarified that the dispatch of site monitoring teams for a Site Area Emergency is specific to Browns Ferry and Watts Bar.
  • Changed subsection title to clarify that the Operations Duty Specialist is making, not receiving notifications.
  • Updated the title of Radioactive Material Specialist to the current title, Radwaste Shipper.
  • Updated the figure depicting the Central Emergency Control Center (CECC) to reflect the new configuration of the CECC following remodeling.
  • Changed EMTs to EMT (singular) to reflect Fire Brigade manning.
  • Updated the title of the medical training facility from Safety and Emergency Response Training Academy (SERTA) to Emergency Response Training Center (ERTC).
  • Changed all instances of Nuclear Support Services to Emergency Preparedness to reflect the responsible organization.
  • Other minor editorial changes.

The above changes were evaluated in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q)(3) and 10 CFR 72.44(f). TVA determined that the changes did not reduce the effectiveness of the TVA REP.
