Dear Sir or Madam:

In Reference 1, Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (Entergy) deferred the supplement to the Vermont Yankee (VY) Cyber Security Plan until after the NRC staff has provided direction on further revision. In Reference 2, the NRC issued requests for additional information (RAIs) on the VY Cyber Security Plan with responses due by February 15, 2011. Entergy's responses to the RAIs are provided in Attachment 1. Changes to Section 4.3, "Defense-In-Depth Protective Strategies," of the VY Cyber Security Plan will be made in accordance with the RAI responses as described in Attachment 1. In addition to resolution of the issue identified in Reference 1, other common industry issues are being resolved (i.e., cyber security records retention and implementation schedules).
