Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 Renewed Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-71 and DPR-62 Docket Nos. 50-325 and 50-324 Response to Regulatory Issue Summary 2010-08 Concerning Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examinations Ladies and Gentlemen:

On June 28, 2010, the NRC issued Regulatory Issue Summary 2010-08, Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examinations, to request the voluntary submittal of information regarding future licensing examinations for operators. In response to that request, Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L), now doing business as Progress Energy Carolinas, Inc., is submitting the proposed operator licensing examination schedule for calendar years 2012 through 2015, for the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant (BSEP),

Unit Nos. 1 and 2. Also included are estimates for applicants planning to take the Generic Fundamentals Examination in calendar years 2010 and 2011. The information requested is provided on the enclosed NRC Form 536.
