Failure to Establish Maintenance Procedures for Doors that Provide Safety-Related Functions

Description

The inspectors identified a Green, non-cited violation of Technical Specification 5.4.1.a, Procedures, for the licensees failure to establish, implement, and maintain procedures associated with door maintenance. Specifically, the licensee failed to establish, implement, and maintain maintenance procedures for doors that provide safety-related functions such as ventilation pressure boundaries. As a result, 15 safety-related doors were identified that either had degraded conditions or that did not have a periodic maintenance task to inspect the doors.
