Review Adequacy of Licensee Monitoring and Control of SDSP Releases to Ensure Doses to Members of the Public Are Maintained ALARA.

Description

An unresolved item (URI) was identified regarding the adequacy of licensee surveys (evaluations) required by 10 CFR 20.1501(a) necessary to implement Technical Specification (TS) 5.5.4 Offsite Dose Calculation Manual (ODCM) controls used to demonstrate doses to members of the public from the abnormal releases of effluents from the SDSP are ALARA in accordance with 10 CFR 50.36a. This item is unresolved pending NRC review and evaluation of the licensees root cause analysis regarding abnormal effluent releases from the SDSP to the onsite environment and their subsequent impact on offsite doses: URI: 05000325, 324/ 2007003-002: Review Adequacy of Licensee Monitoring and Control of SDSP Releases to Ensure Doses to Members of the Public Are Maintained ALARA
