KPS Lic/MJH Docket No.

License No.06-583 RO 50-305 DPR-43 DOMINION ENERGY KEWAUNEE, INC.

KEWAUNEE POWER STATION WITHDRAWAL OF LICENSEE EVENT REPORT 2005-010-00 On August 16, 2005, Dominion Energy Kewaunee Inc. (DEK) submitted Licensee Event Report (LER) 50-305/2005-010 pursuant to 10 CFR 50.73(a)(2)(v)(B). This LER reported a concern that engineering analysis did not support the manual actions necessary for service water (SW) pump operability.

Subsequent testing and detailed engineering analysis were performed and demonstrated that there was sufficient time to perform the required manual actions; therefore, the SW pumps were operable in the as-found condition. The testing also substantiated the vendor's position that a bearing water flow rate of greater than zero is adequate, and that there was no safety system functional failure.

Based on the above, LER 50-305/2005-010-00 is formally withdrawn.
