Additional structural bracing is required on some of the f an bases a id all bases require dampening vith a snubber or bumper arrangemant in order to be operable during the Design Earthquake.

Due to the low probability o f a scismic event, the safety significance is minimal.

Cause of the Occurrence The fan supports were not designe:i tc meet the seismic requirements.

Tmgediate Corrective Action Design of modifications necessary to upgrade the equipment to withstand the Max im um Credible Earthquake has been completed and the-modificatior.s have beg un.

Sufficient f ans will be modified to meet the Technical S)ecification requirements prior to startup.
