50-305 License No. DPR-43 DOMINION ENERGY KEWAUNEE. INC.

KEWAUNEE POWER STATION WITHDRAWAL OF LICENSEE EVENT REPORT 2007-003-00 On April 4, 2007, Dominion Energy Kewaunee, Inc. (DEK) submitted Licensee Event Report (LER) 50-305/2007-003-00 pursuant to 10 CFR 50.73(a)(2)(i)(B) and 10 CFR 50.73(a)(2)(v)(B) and (D). This LER discussed emergency diesel generator (EDG) inoperability based on potential additional loads identified that could result in loading for both EDGs in excess of their 18 month Technical Specification (TS) surveillance loading of 2950 kilowatts (kW) based on engine rating curves at elevated temperatures.

An evaluation has been performed and it has been determined that actual loads were less than previously assumed. DEK has determined the station was not in a condition prohibited by the station's Technical Specifications or in a condition that could have prevented the fulfillment of the safety function of structures or systems. Therefore, DEK has concluded that the condition reported in the LER does not meet the criteria for

reportability

Based on the above, LER 50-305/2007-003-00 is hereby withdrawn.
