Acceptability Review for Crystal River LAR #300 (ME0259)
- Dan, The NRC staff completed the acceptance review, per LIC-109, of the LAR associated with Crystal River application to incorporate TSTF-479 and 497 in their TS to change references from ASME Section XI to the ASME OM Code (TAC ME0259). The NRC staff finds the subject LAR to be acceptable for review in that the application reasonably appears to contain sufficient technical information, both in scope and depth, for the staff to complete the detailed technical review and render, in an appropriate time frame, an assessment of the proposed action with regard to applicable regulatory requirements and the protection of public health, safety, and security.
The acceptance review did result in some questions that will need to be addressed informally or formally prior to the completion of the staff's final assessment of the LAR.
