In Ju ly 2 023, Kairos Powe r LLC s ubmitted it s E nvironmental Report ( ER) (Reference 1) in s upport o f t he construction p ermit ap plication (CPA) for th e Hermes 2 n on-power reactor. In January 2 024, the Nuclear Regulatory C ommission p rovided th e Hermes 2 Environment al Audit P lan (Reference 2). As a result o f that a udit, the N uclear R egulatory C ommission ( NRC) provided eight requests f or c onfirmatory information ( RCIs) t hat t he s taff w ill use to evaluat e the environmental i mpacts f rom th e proposed action (Reference 3 ). The enclosur e to th is l etter p rovides Kairos P owers confirmation of each R CI.
