In July 2023, Kairos Power submitted Revision 0 of the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report (PSAR) as part of the Construction Permit Application for the Hermes 2 non-power reactor (referenced above). This letter transmits the presentation slides for the May 16, 2024 briefing for the Advisory Committee for Reactor Safeguards (ACRS), Kairos Power Subcommittee. During the May 16 meeting, participants will discuss Hermes PSAR Chapters 2, 3, 5, 9, and 13, which were submitted for NRC review. provides the non-proprietary slides for the June 4, 2024, briefing. Kairos Power authorizes the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to reproduce and distribute the submitted content, as necessary, to support the conduct of their regulatory responsibilities.
