This is to request that Neutron's Certificate of Compliance USA/9215/B(U) be renewed for the maximum period of time of five (5) years> .
The procedures referenced. in ..the cur7ef!t certificate,, Procedur.e R-2014G and procedure R-20l 9G have not changed since the last certificate amendment, so they have not been attached. If you requ~re additional copies of these prp.cedures, phm~e advise. . i* * ., . , :.
We calculate that there have been in excess of 3300 shipments in the 9215 package to and from '
forty-seven states within the USA and five continents without any adverse incidents. The referenced Certificate is for Neutron's only type B(U) package authorized for the shipment of cobalt-60 and cesium-137 sources and is essential.for our continuing participation in:

- :.the reloading and removal of sources in various teletherapy units and iITadiators; and,
- the OSRP source recovery program for both domestic and international use.

The current revision of the Certificate for the USA/9215/B(U) package expires on May 31, 2023 and our business proposals and quotations depend on the Certificate being renewed. We would appreciate your most timely renewal to allow for the review period required by the Department of Transportation for renewal of the Certificate of Competent Authority.
