Status of NRC Harvesting Activities Date(s) and Time(s): June 27, 2022, 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET Location: Two White Flint North, TWFN 6D02 11545 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD Category: This is an Observation Meeting. This is a meeting in which attendees will have an opportunity to observe the NRC performing its regulatory function or discussing regulatory issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed following the business portion of the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.

Purpose:

This meeting will inform the public and stakeholders about the NRC staff's current plans and industry interactions related to harvesting of material samples from decommissioned nuclear power plans. The meeting will also provide a forum for other organizations involved in harvesting to provide an overview of their plans and perspectives related to harvesting.
