By letter dated October 13, 2020 (ADAMS Accession No. ML20304A395), you submitted an application to revise Certificate of Compliance (CoC) No. 9792, for the Model No. D1G Core Basket Thermal Shield Shipping and Storage Container. The package is designed to transport irradiated core barrels. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff performed an acceptance review of your application and determined it contains sufficient technical information in scope and depth to allow the staff to complete a detailed technical review.
We have established a schedule for the review and estimate that the staff may need approximately 510 hours0.0059 days <br />0.142 hours <br />8.43254e-4 weeks <br />1.94055e-4 months <br /> to complete its review. The schedule allows for the staff to issue a request for additional information (RAI) in March 2021 and, if a second RAI is not needed, a CoC in August 2021, based on you responding to the first RAI in July 2021.
