- This refers to the routine Post-Accident Sampling System safety inspection
r conducted by Mr. J. J. Kottan of this office on February 24-27, 1987 at the
1 Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2, Lusby, Maryland, of activ-

ities authorized by NRC License Nos. DPR-53 and DPR-69 and to the discussions
I
of our findings held by Mr. Kottan with Mr. P. Crinigan and others of your
staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative

records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
! Our inspector also verified the steps you have taken to correct the violations
i
brought to your attention in the enclosure to our letters dated August 8, 1985
,
and September 26, 1985. We have no further questions regarding your action at
,
this time.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
