- 4 (3) Except for alpha sources, the periodic leak test required by this condi-i tion does not apply to sealed sources that are stored and not being used.

Each sealed source or detector cell fabricated by the licensee shall be f, inspected and tested for construction defects, leakage, and contamination W prior to use or transfer as a sealed source or detectcr cell. or greater of contamination, the scurce shall not be used or transferred ip fl as a sealed source or detector cell until it has been repaired, decontami- 9 jf .bj I4 nated and retested.
