PURDUE UNIVERSITYLICENSE AMENDMENT FOR CHANGE OF RADIATION SAFETY OFFICER
Dear Mr. Butt:
In response to your submittal dated July 7, 2020 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System [ADAMS] Accession No. ML20199M175), and pursuant to Part 70 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR), Special Nuclear Materials License SNM-142 is hereby amended to approve the radiation safety officer selection. Accordingly, License Condition 9 has been revised to add the dated request of July 7, 2020, and Amendment 2 is issued. All other conditions of this license remain the same.
This licensing amendment request was received via the Region III Office of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), located in Lisle, IL. For any correspondence or support to Special Nuclear Material License SNM-142, please contact me at the Division of Fuel Management in the Office of Nuclear Materials Safety and Safeguards at the Headquarters Office of the NRC. Enclosed is a Safety Evaluation Report as well as public and nonpublic copies of the revised license. This letter concludes action on the amendment.
In accordance with 10 CFR Section 2.390 of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedures, a copy of this letter and Enclosures 1 and 2 will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room, or from the NRCs ADAMS. Enclosure 3 will not be made publicly available. ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
Documents transmitted herewith contain Security-Related Information. When separated from the sensitive conditions in Enclosure 3, this document is decontrolled.
